As the second biggest camera maker, on Monday, Casio refresh their 2 new Exilim zoom models for the new comers in the US, the Casio EX-Z280 & Casio EX-Z33 Digital Camera.

With an Exilim Engine 4 processor, the EX-Z280 is claimed that it can produce a better image quality. The other features that quite interesting are the Casio EX-Z280 supports 720p video recording and a Dynamic Photo new version that will enable users to embed animated clip art on camera with its extending battery life. In addition, it also comes with extending battery life.

The Casio EX-Z280 can shoot at a wider light sensitivity range at a 26-104mm equivalent with wide-angle 4x lens, 12 megapixels resolution and will shoot at ISO 64 up to ISO 3,200 as well.

As for the Casio EX-Z33, it has almost the same features as EX-Z280 but it’s limited to widescreen 480p video recording and it doesn’t support improved Dynamic Photo. Also the EX-Z33 resolution is smaller and reduced to 10 megapixels. Compare to the EX-Z280, the Casio EX-Z33 is only able to shoot at a maximum ISO 1,600.

Both Casio digital cameras of EX-Z280 & EX-Z33 will be able to ship in September at the retail price of $180 for the EX-Z280 & $120 for the EX-Z33.
