Last year, the Touch HD has been released by HTC but like many other HTC / Windows Mobile devices out there, it quickly faded. So now, HTC release a new HTC Touch called the Touch HD 2, but for this Touch HD2 is more into Android phone.

The transition from Windows Mobile to Android for the HTC Touch HD2 is not that shocking as HTC has shown for the evolving OS, but it’s a little bit shocking to learn that Windows Mobile 6.5 won’t be on the updated Touch HD. Some source said that the new HTC Touch HD2 will be significantly faster than its predecessor and even will be faster than the majority of HTC mobile devices that are on the market right now.

At this moment, the HTC devices basic standard is a 528MHz Qualcomm processor, but probably will be upgraded to a 628MHz Qualcomm chip for the Touch HD. The other feature that will come together with the New HTC Touch HD2 is its massive 3.8-inch touch screen.

As for the pricing and any other future availability for the new HTC Touch HD2, there are still no information yet, but probably will get the info soon.
