Sony VAIO W brings Pocket Reader Edition bundles for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In supporting Breast Cancer Awareness month, Sony has announced to bring out the two new bundles of Sony VAIO W series netbook and  Sony Pocket Reader Edition bundles in pink colors.

The first bundles that they’re offering is Sony VAIO W bundles that comes with a Berry Pink 10.5-inch and runs an Intel Atom N280 CPU that is equipped with 1GB of RAM and hard drive of 160GB as well together with a matching sleeve and mouse in pink colors.

As for the second bundle edition of Rose Pocket Reader Edition, it also comes out in pink color with a gold clutch case and also bonus of 4 ebooks download codes.

Both of these 2 items can be ordered already at the price of $499 for the Sony VAIO W series and $199 for the Rose Pocket Reader edition. And Sony said that they will donate $110,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for the October Sales of these 2 bundles.

New Asus Color E-Reader Can Be Folded Like a Book

As we might know that recently eBook reader or e-reader is one of the hottest consumer products categories that sell well, just like Amazon had launched their Kindle 2 and Kindle DX as well for Sony introduced and launched their Sony e-reader, and still many other companies who has launched their eBook reader / e-reader products and even a comic viewer.

But all eBook readers / e-reader are mostly available black and white, and it seems that Asus product will likely be the first to offer a color screen by introducing a New Asus Color E-Reader that can be folded like a book, it has 2 touch-screens and it will resemble a hardcover book when laid open.

With its dual screens, The New Asus Color E-Reader’ readers will experience a similarity to read a paper book, besides user as well can browse a web page by using the second screen.

Other great features that Asus bring besides its 2 color touch-screens, Asus Color E-Reader will also have a speaker, webcam and microphone as well to enable user to make inexpensive Skype calls.

The other good news is that probably the price will be lower than their competitor Sony and Kindle at estimated price of $165.
