Finally Apple updated its 5th Gen iPod Nano with camera but unfortunately for iPod Touch, it’s still not updated yet with a camera instead of memory upgraded to 64GB.
As for the 5th Gen iPod Nano, it gets a bigger screen, camera and some other small updates which is for iPod Touch, it gets only memory increasing for its capacity and the price for iPod Touch is going down as well. The price for iPod Touch for 8GB will be cut down to $199, 32GB is $299 and as for the latest upgrade memory of 64GB the price is for $399.
Apple is not offering an updated 16GB version for its iPod Touch and it’s still using the same CPU as the iPhone 3G and the 2nd Gen iPod Touch. As we probably have heard rumors previously that Apple will upgrade the 3rd Gen iPod Touch with a camera, but that rumors is not true this time as Apple decided not to include one for its iPod Touch instead of the 5th Gen iPod Nano.
The fact is that Apple is including and updating a camera for the 5th Gen iPod Nano but there is still problem that the camera doesn’t take any still pics, but the 5th Gen iPod Nano comes with a larger screen of 2.2-inch color display for your viewing pleasure as well it has an anodized aluminum finish that has been polished and are available in 9 electrifying colors.
The other features are that the 5th Gen iPod Nano supports FM radio tuner with Live Pause and iTunes Tagging, a pedometer and as well it also comes with a VoiceOver and Voice Memo features, so you can do voice recording using its built-in mic.
The 5th Gen iPod Nano is also equipped with a Special Effects of 15 fun video effects that will allow you to add a little Hollywood to your video by simply scrolling through the effect you want, such as motion blur or film grain or any other effects and you can start your video recording. Once you’re done with your recording, you will be easily sync your iPod nano to your computer and publish your video on YouTube or Facebook.
As for the size of the 5th Gen iPod Nano is still the same as the 4th Gen iPod Nano and the battery can hold up to 24 hours music playback or 5 hours of video playback, so it’s 1 hour longer compare to the 4th Gen iPod nano. The price will be set for $179 for 16GB and $149 for the 8GB.
